Carol Apple has worked as professional technical writer and editor for about 20 years and has also worked as a technical illustrator. She lives with her husband, two teenage sons, and two dogs (Springadors) in Southeastern Virginia. She has written legal documents, official letters, proposals, trade magazine articles, and resumes. Her favorite things to write are essays and she has also published some poems.

She enjoys writing about many topics including religion, politics, health and fitness, self education, and especially likes to put her English degree to work by writing about literature. In addition of Suite 101, she currently writes for HubPages and her own blog – Carol's Notes.
